NFL Draft: Sooners lineman Bobby Evans headed to Rams with 97th pick

Another Oklahoma offensive lineman is off the board.

Bobby Evans, the starting left tackle on OU’s Joe Moore Award-winning line, was drafted 97th overall in the third round by the Los Angeles Rams.

Evans is the fourth Sooner to be drafted, and the second from Allen High School, along with Murray, the quarterback he blocked for in high school and college

Evans started all 40 games he played in for the Sooners. The 6-foot-4 and 312-pound tackle declared for the draft after a junior season in which he was named second-team All-Big 12.
