Kyler Murray didn’t do anything but watch during Saturday’s quarterback drills at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
But still, Murray seized control of the day, with an NFL Network report that the belief around the NFL is that Murray will be the No. 1 overall pick by the Arizona Cardinals.
The network’s Kimberly Jones reported that “people are beginning to believe, almost universally” that Murray would be taken with the top pick.
“In fact, teams picking in the top 10 believe they’ll have no chance at selecting Murray,” Jones reported.
Murray has a long-established relationship with Cardinals’ coach Kliff Kingsbury, who said last season while head coach at Texas Tech that he would pick Murray No.
