NORMAN — In Oklahoma's last game, Jalen Hurts was on the opposite side, helping Alabama advance to the College Football Playoff title game with a 45-34 win in the Orange Bowl.
In Oklahoma's next game — Aug. 31 at home against Houston — Hurts figures to be behind center trying to help the Sooners get back to the playoff.
Hurts announced Wednesday in a post on The Players' Tribune — that he'd decided to transfer to Oklahoma, where he'll be eligible immediately as a graduate transfer.
Hurts' decision — he picked the Sooners over Maryland and Miami — is the biggest piece in a drama-filled few days at quarterback for Oklahoma.
