NCAA granted motion for summary judgment in Amani Bledsoe case

Oklahoma defensive lineman Amani Bledsoe's lawsuit against the NCAA appears over after Cleveland County District Judge Jeff Virgin granted the NCAA's motion for summary judgment while denying Bledsoe's.

The decision came Dec. 11 but wasn't posted until this week.

Bledsoe was suing the NCAA after he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs which he said made it into his system through protein powder he borrowed from a teammate and consumed once.

After Bledsoe's positive test, the powder was subsequently found to be tainted with clomiphene, a banned substance. The label on the product did not list any banned substances.
