The Thunder training facility re-opened Monday, 10 days after Oklahoma City authorities gave gyms and fitness centers the green light to resume business, under a variety of restrictions.
A Thunder spokesman said a “handful” of players are expected back for voluntary workouts and that some already had been in the facility Monday.
More than 20 NBA teams already have opened their facilities. The Thunder apparently was waiting for documentation from the state health department that any coronavirus precautions taken by the organization would not impede health efforts in the community.
All workouts are voluntary for now.
