Mayfield: There's a higher standard here

NORMAN — When early enrollee quarterback Chris Robison was arrested early Sunday morning, he became the second OU quarterback in the last two months to grab headlines for an arrest involving public intoxication.

“I think people have let it slip a little bit and gotten a little lackadaisical about all the off-the-field stuff,” said quarterback Baker Mayfield, who was arrested in February on four misdemeanor charges in Fayetteville, Ark. “But I think the standard has never gone away, it just needs to be made more apparent. We just need a little reminder and we’ll be good from there.
