Attrition for any number of reasons is a part of every college football program, and it hit the Sooners today as backup defensive back Marcus Green in no longer with the Sooners football team. Guerin Emig of the Tulsa World tweeted out the following confirming the rumors.
I can confirm reserve CB Marcus Green is no longer w/ #Sooners. Played sparingly this season as redshirt freshman.

Green was a 3 star recruit and a member of the Sooners class of 2014. Green starred for Cedar Hill High School in Cedar Hill, Texas.
