LSU's Grant Delpit won the 2019 Jim Thorpe Award.
LSU and Oklahoma both have three Thorpe Award winners, which is presented by Paycom and the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame to the best defensive back in college football.
The award winner was announced by former Sooner and Thorpe Award winner Roy Manning on the Home Depot College Football Awards Show on ESPN.
Delpit made 56 total tackles and two interceptions this season. He beat out Ohio State's Jeff Okudah and Georgia's J.R. Reed for the award.
