TUTTLE — Tuttle junior Macy McAdoo kept tabs on other pitchers around the state.
When they had a big game, or reached an impressive statistical feat, she only wanted to do more. Then she made sure to prove she was better.
She worked on her fastball. She worked on her command. She even delivered pep talks to her teammates.
“I just tried to work every day as hard as possible,” McAdoo said. “I'd tell my team we're going to win this no matter what we go through.”
As McAdoo became a force, so did Tuttle with a second straight Class 4A state championship.
