Lincoln Riley has gone pop culture. Topps’ trading cards has included Riley in its 2018 non-baseball collection.
Riley is part of an eclectic group that includes rapper Biz Markie, actor Michael Rapoport, ESPN’s Doris Burke, comedian Jon Lovitz, basketball players Jaren Jackson Jr. and Collin Sexton, skier Lindsey Vonn, skateboarder Tony Hawk.
Best as I can tell, Riley is the only college football-related personality with a card in the collection.
OU fan Anthony Glenn alerted me to the card. “I am writing to let you know about my recent discovery in the world of baseball card collecting,” Glenn said.
