TULSA — If Lincoln Riley is at all concerned that the Sooners' quarterback decision will be taken out of his hands thanks to baseball, he didn't show it Thursday.
Speaking at a Sooner Caravan stop at the Schusterman Center, Riley said he fully expected Kyler Murray to be part of his team in 2018 regardless of what happens in next week's Major League Baseball Draft.
Murray's baseball stock has skyrocketed over the season as he blossomed into one of the best hitters in coach Skip Johnson's lineup. Murray has flashed the talent that made him a highly sought-after prospect out of high school until he declined to take the MLB-mandated drug tests.
