NORMAN — Oklahoma linebacker Caleb Kelly has been cleared for a couple weeks.
Sooners coach Lincoln Riley said Wednesday that Kelly could be with the team this weekend at Baylor (6:30 p.m., ABC).
"He’s close. It’ll definitely be a consideration," Riley said. "I think he’s to the point where he’s physically ready to help us. We’ve been knocking off the rust, but I think we’re getting to the point where we start to seriously start entertaining playing him."
Kelly was injured in the spring, and at the time it looked like he'd miss the entire season.
