The Oklahoma City Oklahoman and multiple media sources reported on Wednesday that the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents rewarded the 35-year-old head coach’s exceptional two seasons of success with a very lucrative contract extension worth $32.5 over the next five years.

For fans who are mathematically challenged, that averages out to $6.5 million dollar per year.

The new contract calls for an annual stay benefit of $700,000 for each year he remains as head coach as well as an additional $1 million stay bonus on April 1, 2021.
