NORMAN — As a freshman in high school, Ana Llanusa attended the annual Play4Kay game at the Lloyd Noble Center.
She watched as the Sooners, wearing pink uniforms and hot pink floral Aunt Pearl Kevin Durant shoes beat Texas by one point and raised awareness for women's cancer in the midst of a raucous environment.
She was hooked, counting down the days until she could play in a pink game of her own.
Saturday afternoon, she finally got her chance and responded with 27 points in Oklahoma's 76-57 win against No. 21 West Virginia (17-6, 5-6 Big 12) in this year's game bringing awareness to women's cancer and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
