Late Home Run Dooms Sooners In Game Two Against Mountaineers

A game that went in a totally opposite direction from Friday's opener ended in familiar fashion. For the second game in a row a baseball contest between Oklahoma and West Virginia was settled on a late-inning, two-run shot that left the park. This time it was the Sooners playing the role of the victims and the Mountaineers the victors.

After the series opened on Friday night with a pitcher's duel the two teams combined for 11 runs off 20 hits. The most resounding one came in the bottom seventh off the bat of Jackson Cramer. The Sooners entered the inning with a 5-3 lead but wouldn't be able to withstand the Mountaineer rally.
