Hundreds of women and at least one man who spoke out against disgraced former Michigan State and Olympic doctor Larry Nassar will be honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs on July 18.
Among them will be a Sooner.
Gymnast Maggie Nichols, who recently won the NCAA All-Around title in her sophomore year at Oklahoma, came forward in January with a letter that revealed she was the first to alert USA Gymnastics about Nassar's sexual abuse in 2015 when she was just 15 years old.
"Up until now, I was identified as Athlete A by USA gymnastics, the US Olympic Committee and Michigan State University.
