Lampkin, Orso-Bacchus return from suspension

Defensive tackle Du’Vonta Lampkin and offensive lineman Dwayne Orso-Bacchus will be available to play against Texas Tech (7 p.m., FOX) after completing their six-game suspensions stemming from last year’s bowl game in Miami.

Lampkin, a redshirt freshman, was a three-star recruit out of Houston while Orso-Bacchus started out his OU career on the defensive line. But after playing in six games last season, the redshirt sophomore switched sides of the ball to become an offensive lineman.

Lampkin’s return has the potential to add depth to a defensive line that will be without defensive ends Matt Dimon and Charles Walker for yet another game.
