Kyler Murray's National Championship goal comes to an end in Orange Bowl loss: 'I hope everybody knows I never quit'

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- When Kyler Murray walked off the field at Hard Rock Stadium Saturday night, he carried more than just a stained jersey and a crimson welt under his left eye.

For the last year, Murray has shouldered the burden of leading Oklahoma to a National Championship — an undertaking he inherited from Baker Mayfield.

"My goal was to be remembered here," Murray said. "I think that should be anybody's goal ... Make the place better than you found it.
