NORMAN — Just before 11 a.m. Saturday, Kyler Murray jogged off the field at Memorial Stadium.
The Oklahoma football team was 20 minutes away from wrapping up its first practice of the spring season, but Murray needed to duck out a couple minutes early to make the 1.5 mile trip to L. Dale Mitchell Park where the baseball team was warming up for a doubleheader against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Not only is Murray in the race for starting quarterback alongside redshirt sophomore-to-be Austin Kendall, he's also the baseball team's starting center fielder, leading the Sooners with three home runs.
