The Oklahoma quarterback joins Will Grier of West Virginia as the only players from the Big 12 to make the cutdown list. This is the second time Grier has been a semifinalist for the award. He was a semifinalist last season, his first at West Virginia.

The dual-sport star has completed 70.6 percent of his pass attempts for 2,689 yards and 31 touchdowns. He also has gained 574 yards on the ground and has seven rushing touchdowns.
