NORMAN — Sitting in the locker room in the moments before taking the field at the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 2, 2014, Trevor Knight looked around and saw a team ready to go out and accomplish the improbable.
“I think what I remember most is the energy that we had right before the game,” Knight said two years ago when he returned to the Sugar Bowl to watch the Sooners play Auburn.
“Obviously we were an underdog team and nobody really gave us a shot, but we were ready to play and I could see it in everybody's eyes.
