Midway through the 7-on-7 championship at The Opening’s Finals on Tuesday, Oklahoma quarterback commit Spencer Rattler could sense his squad was bound for victory.
His team was comprised most of the seven Oklahoma commits invited to the event at The Star in Frisco -- the most of any college program -- and had rolled opponents throughout the weekend, building chemistry the players expect will translate to success in Norman.
By the time they prevailed at the end of the four-day event, the future Sooners all had a similar thought.
“This is only the beginning,” Prestonwood Christian tight end Austin Stogner said.
