The matricarch of the Gundy family has died, her son and Oklahoma football assistant coach Cale Gundy announced on Twitter on Monday.
Judy Gundy passed away on Sunday.
"It is with heavy heart, we share that on Sunday, August 2nd we lost our beloved wife, momma & gramma, Judy," Cale Gundy wrote. "A viewing will be held for family & friends Thursday with a private family service Friday.We are humbled by the love and support shown to our family."
The Twitter post added that a viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday, prior to a private family service on Friday.
