With five-star recruit Caleb Kelly and Tulsa product Jon-Michael Terry among Oklahoma’s signees at linebacker in the 2016 class, the Sooners’ two junior-college signees at the position were a bit overlooked.
Kapri Doucet and Emmanuel Beal, both signed out of Lackawanna (Pa.) Community College, were both two-star signees.
The pair committed to OU within days of each other just a few days before signing day.
Now, both are making a case to get regular playing time—Doucet on the outside and possibly behind Will Johnson at nickelback and Beal on the inside battling for the starting spot next to Jordan Evans.
