Despite not receiving an invitation to the NFL combine, Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon will participate in the Sooners' pro day on March 8, his agent told Liz Mullen of Sports Business Journal.
"Teams will get everything they need from him out at the pro day and after the pro day. The fact that he wasn't invited to the combine will have zero effect on his draft," Mixon's agent, Peter Schaffer, told Sports Business Journal.
Mixon was not invited to the scouting combine following controversy during his three years in Norman. Shortly after arriving to campus in 2014, Mixon punched a female student in the face in an off-campus restaurant.
