NORMAN — Patty Gasso can’t explain it.
Whatever it is that freshman Jocelyn Alo does at the plate is practically indescribable.
Her mentality, her approach, her adjustments, all of it.
“I don’t, I cannot explain this phenomenon,” Gasso said, sputtering for the words after Saturday’s super regional win. “She can hit anything you want to throw up there. And so, I’m not sure if she sees it or if she makes that adjustment quickly to sit back. But she’s just incredible, and I’m excited to see her opportunity at the World Series as well. It’s going to be fun to watch.
