Throughout Oklahoma's spring practice, players and coaches alike have raved about newcomer WR Marquise Brown's speed.
He signed with the Sooners as part of the 2017 class ranked the No. 10 JUCO player in the country after hauling in 50 receptions for 754 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. But his size was what caught attention, standing at 5-11 and just 157 pounds, according to OU's spring roster.
Teammates described him as small, shifty and lightning quick -- not unlike departed Biletnikoff winner Dede Westbrook.
"He might be faster than Dede. Don't tell Dede I said that," Mayfield said after practice Wednesday, with a laugh.
