Jake Dalton was an Olympian in 2012, and while the Oklahoma alum and Norman resident fully expected to be part of the team again this year, an injury last year raised doubts. He lost feeling and strength in his arm. A cyst pressing on nerves in his shoulder was first thought to be the issue, but surgery in September revealed he had a partially torn labrum.
For several months, he did no gymnastics.
