AUSTIN -- From ESPN College GameDay to an energized Erwin Center, people spent the buildup to Texas-Oklahoma focused on one spectacular freshman point guard.
After a 79-74 Texas victory, the attention had shifted to the resiliency of another freshman point guard.
Matt Coleman had spent two days making sure one of his worst moments as a college player didn't linger. At Texas Tech on Wednesday, Coleman had missed three consecutive free throws then immediately fouled out in what would be a Tech overtime win. Upon getting back to Austin, Coleman talked with coach Shaka Smart and then went directly to the practice gym, where he recreated the situation over and over, determined not to come up empty on three tries.
