NORMAN — Drake Stoops got on his bike knowing everything would be all right.
The grass on the University of Oklahoma's football practice field was soft if he fell. His parents, Bob and Carol, were also there to assist.
“There was no better place to take us,” Drake said of that offseason evening more than a decade ago.
On a day where the Stoops legacy continued in Norman, Drake recalled the 18 years he spent around the program his father once led.
He learned to ride his bike alongside his twin brother Isaac on that practice field.
