Good afternoon, C&C Machine readers. My name is Jack Shields, and the good people at SBNation have deemed me fit to run their OU blog. I’m extremely excited to be on board, and I plan on providing a lot of fun content for you guys.
A little bit about me:
- I grew up an avid OU fan in Edmond, OK. My elementary school class was comprised largely of OSU offspring during the Schnellenberger/Blake years, so I naturally have a chip on my shoulder when it comes to the Sooners.
- I went to OU, where I majored in meteorology, then energy management, then journalism with a minor in aviation (I wanted to be Ernest Hemingway, apparently), then psychology before finally settling on sociology with a criminology concentration.
