From the ear-splitting opening of “It's So Easy” to the raucous closing of “Paradise City,” Guns N’ Roses brought plenty of hair metal energy to Chesapeake Energy Arena on Wednesday night.
Axl Rose’s voice isn’t as crisp as it once was but with Slash stealing the show with his guitar, it didn’t much matter.
Rose had plenty of moments of his own, though, including playing the piano on "November Rain" — and rolling with the punches when the piano didn't work initially, causing a quick audible into the Bob Dylan cover "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" before the piano was fixed.
