Ronnie Ash and Will Claye qualified in the 110-meter hurdles and triple jump, respectively, at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore.
Ash, who spent one season at Oklahoma, in 2010, recorded the best time in both the qualifying heats and the semifinal round of the 110-meter hurdles at this year’s U.S. Olympic Trials and just missed posting the best time in the event final over the weekend, coming in second by just .001 seconds in a photo finish.
On the same track (Hayward Field at the University of Oregon) one year ago, Ash qualified in the 110-meter hurdles for the IAAF (International Association of Athletic Federations) World Championships in Beijing.
