Vikings right tackle, Phil Loadholt, tore his achilles in Saturday night's game against the Buccaneers. He injured it during the second play of the game on a running play. Loadholt also missed the last five games of the 2014 season with a torn pectoral muscle, and only got cleared to play right before training camp began. It's a major blow to the former Sooner tackle, who was a fan favorite due to his massive size (6"8, 350 pounds) and excellent blocking.
Loadholt started every game for Minnesota from 2009 up until his 2014 injury. He has been blocking for former Sooner Adrian Peterson in all of his seven seasons as a Vikings.
