NORMAN, Okla. -- It didn't take long for Chris Robison to play at Oklahoma, after all.
Robison, the former Sooners quarterback dismissed from the team last year, made his first career start for visiting Florida Atlantic on Saturday morning. The redshirt freshman transferred to FAU last fall, and sat out due to NCAA transfer requirements.
Robison won the Owls' starting job, beating out former Florida State quarterback De'Andre Johnson and SMU graduate transfer Rafe Peavey during preseason camp.
The Mesquite native and Horn product connected on his first pass attempt and later drew a roughing the passer penalty on Kenneth Murray.
