Cowboy fans probably weren't too excited to see former Oklahoma receiver Sterling Shepard get drafted by division-rival New York Giants. Anyone who follows Big 12 football knows what Shepard is capable of and to see him partner up with New York's receivers Odell Beckham, Jr. and Victor Cruz gives the Cowboys' secondary a lot to handle twice a year.
So far at the Giants' minicamp, Shepard has impressed one member of that duo. Beckham raved about the former Sooner earlier this week, according to Newsday.
"He's going to be a phenomenal player," Beckham said of his new teammate.
