Former Oklahoma Sooner RHP Jonathan Gray Set To Make MLB Debut

The Colorado Rockies continue to look for a reliable starting pitcher after Eddie Butler's recent struggles. Now, it appears as though GM Jeff Bridich has made the decision to put the ball in the glove of another youngster and former Oklahoma Sooners RHP, Jonathan Gray. At Coors Field, Gray will face the Seattle Mariners lineup in his MLB debut.

In the month of July, the righty upped his production posting a 2.70 ERA alongside 43 strikeouts to just 13 walks in 30 innings of work for the Albuquerque Isotopes (Triple-A). The effort turned heads leading to the initial call up from the Rockies.
