Former Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield appears to have taken over in Cleveland.
The Browns have insisted on playing Tyrod Taylor so far in 2018, but have failed to get into the win column. On Thursday night against the Jets, Taylor struggled mightily and the Browns fell behind 14-0.
Taylor ended up going into concussion protocol just before halftime (although Mayfield may have gotten his shot in this game anyways) and that gave the former Sooner a chance to cut into New York's lead. Mayfield did just that, leading the Browns on a field goal drive in the final two minutes of the half.
