Oklahoma has thrived on transfer quarterbacks during Lincoln Riley’s tenure in Norman, and Sooners have added another one in the form of ex-Alabama QB Jalen Hurts.
Hurts made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon via a Players' Tribune article. He was also considering Miami and Maryland.
Hurts' Player's Tribune article mostly thanks those at Alabama, but one section does point toward the future:
"One of the things that people always want to talk to me about is last month's SEC Championship Game," Hurts said. "They come up to me and say that it inspired them, or that they were rooting like crazy for me, or how they had been hoping all season that I would get another chance.
