Florida softball coach Tim Walton, a former Oklahoma baseball player and assistant softball coach for the Sooners, was involved in a postgame altercation with an Auburn player after Monday's 1-0 Auburn win over Florida.
As the teams made their way through the handshake line following the game, Tigers shortstop Haley Fagan appeared to drop her hand when she reached Walton.
Walton reacted by putting his hand and forearm on Fagan's shoulder as she passed. Fagan turned around and pushed Walton, leading to a brief exchange of words.
Walton and the Fagan family have history.
