Predictions of doom notwithstanding, the conventional wisdom from a variety of industry sources surveyed holds that the most likely short-term path for the Big 12 is the status quo.
The theory goes that life is good in the Big 12 right now with big revenue paydays into the next decade, and there's no immediate incentive for a raiding party or a breakup.
