MANHATTAN, Kan. — Oklahoma's trip to Bill Snyder Family Stadium turned into a disaster Saturday, with Kansas State dominating in a 48-41 win over the No. 5 Sooners.
Here's five takeaways from the loss:
1. Disastrous defense
Things started all right for the Oklahoma defense.
On the first drive of the game, the Sooners got a quick three-and-out and it appeared as if Alex Grinch's defense was just rolling right along.
Then it got exposed.
Kansas State gashed Oklahoma on the ground. Skyler Thompson selectively took advantage of the Sooners in the passing game.
