It’s amazing what one late-season win over a very good team can do for a high-profile college football program. The Oklahoma Sooners, who many thought were all but done after a terrible loss to Texas five games ago, are now beginning to get consideration again as a potential College Football Playoff contender after an impressive road win over previously unbeaten and 4th-ranked Baylor.
That is still a big hypothetical considering that OU’s final two regular-season games are against Big 12 preseason favorite TCU and in Bedlam at Oklahoma State, two games that will have a large bearing on who comes out on top this season in the Big 12.
