Fifteen of Oklahoma’s 21 athletics programs posted a multi-year Academic Progress Rate above the NCAA Division I national average--including football and both men’s and women’s basketball programs.
During the 2013-14 academic year, 11 of the school’s programs recorded a perfect 1,000 annual APR score, tied with Texas for the most in the Big 12.
Those programs posting perfect scores for last year were men’s and women’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s tennis, women’s basketball, women’s cross country, women’s golf, rowing, softball, volleyball and wrestling.
The football program produced a 963 multi-year APR score, second in the Big 12 behind Kansas State (976).
