The Skinz League adopted a new policy for its games Wednesday night.

“For preventative measures and everyone’s safety, we now require masks for those in attendance,” the Edmond-based basketball league tweeted.

The message was sent Tuesday with four pictures of Buddy Hield in the background, wearing a pink Skinz League jersey and a black mask while he was warming up. Hield scored 48 points later that night on June 10, his lone Skinz League appearance.

Two weeks later, on Wednesday night, The Athletic reported that the Sacramento Kings guard and former OU star had tested positive for the coronavirus.
