Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook is a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the nation's top wide receiver, OU annnounced Monday.
Westbrook caught two passes for 100 yards and a touchdown in the Sooners' 56-28 victory over West Virginia. He has 15 receiving touchdowns on the year, which ties a school record set by Mark Clayton (2003) and Ryan Broyles (2009).
Of his 15 touchdowns, 11 have been for 40 yards or more.
Westbrook joins Northwestern's Austin Carr and East Carolina's Zay Jones. Westbrook would be the first-ever OU player to win the award.
His 1,354 yards receiving this season has caught national attention, even pushing him onto some Heisman watch lists.
