Second-ranked Oklahoma earned a pair of run-rule victories over Utah Sunday in Salt Lake City, defeating the Utes 11-2 in six innings and 13-3 in five frames.
In game one, OU's Lynnsie Elam went 2 for 2 with one homer and a career-high four RBIs.
Shannon Saile and Giselle Juarez combined in the circle. Saile (6-1) earned the win after surrendering two runs and six hits over 3 2/3 innings. Juarez closed the final 2 1/3 frames. The junior allowed one hit and struck out two.
The Sooners stayed hot in game two, recording 16 hits and four home runs.
