NORMAN — Fale Aviu hit a walk-off, two-run double to help Oklahoma open its series against Baylor with a 3-2 win in ten innings on Saturday.
The game was scoreless through eight innings before Shelby Friudenberg put Baylor on the board with an RBI single in the top of the ninth at Marita Hynes Field.
OU freshman Nicole Mendes drove in sophomore Sydney Romero, however, to tie the game in the bottom half of the frame.
Baylor scored again in the top of the tenth, but OU had one more answer.
Freshman Alissa Dalton reached on a fielder's choice and sophomore Caleigh Clifton walked with one out.
