On a sunny afternoon in Norman, Oklahoma, the Sam Houston State Bearkats pushed a run across the plate in the 7th inning finding themselves in a familiar place...tied with the Oklahoma Sooners. Unfortunately there were no late game heroics this go around for Oklahoma. Now taking the field with a runner on second and two outs on the board, a fly ball hit the ground in right field giving the Bearkats the game-winning run. LHP Logan Boyd and relief RHP Alex Bisacca combined for seven hitless innings to hold the home team at bay. The effort from the mound helped seal the 4-3 victory in 11 innings for the Bearkats.
