Doubles by Colin Simpson, Ryan Sluder and Corey Hassel were the inning's big hits. Sluder drove in two runs with his extra base hit.
Reliever Tyler Buffett pitched the final 11/3 innings and picked up his fifth win of the season.
The Cowboys snapped a four-game losing streak. They moved to 20-13 overall and 5-5 in the league.
Baylor fell to 17-17 and 4-6.
